Received the following message. Have turned notifications back on but they are not working. Any advice? Samsung galaxy S 3. "For security reasons your jactivelteatt push notifications have been disabled. This may have happened because you or someone else logged in to another PayPal account from your device. You will no longer receive messages or alerts pushed to your mobile device. To turn your push notifications back on, go to your PayPal Mobile application’s push notification settings page."

Hi LBM,

Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention. This error may be caused by multiple devices being associated with the same PayPal account. I recommend logging into your PayPal account, going to "Profile", removing all the mobile devices listed, and then re-adding your current mobile device.

I hope this helps. 🙂

Hi Dustin, Thanks for the reply. I've gone ahead and removed and readded the mobile device as you suggest. I'll see if any push notifications come through now, if not I'll get back to you. Thanks

I have deleted the app and reinstalled it, turned everything on that could possibly be turned on, only have one mobile device linked and still it won't send notifications. Help!

I did what you said and removed all my old phones from my profile, then I uninstalled and reinstalled the app.

Now there are no phones listed in my profile and my push notifications are on but the app says it's not.

Help meee.

Not sure how I'm missing it, but when on the profile page, what is the exact, verbatim name of what I should select to find the push notification settings. I don't see anything that says that. What section is it under? "Account information"? "Financial Information"?

I don't see anything that seems to deal with my push notifications being disabled.

Hi @PayPal_Dustin @PayPal_Michelle

I'm having troubles getting push notifications to work and wondering if you can help. I upgraded phones to a new iPhone and noticed I wasn't receiving notifications. I checked the setting in the iOS app for notifications but I keep getting an error when I go into the settings "We're sorry. We could not complete your action for the moment."

Based on this thread I went to my old iPhone that I hadn't wiped yet. I noticed I got a notification for a payment there. I could get into the notification settings on that devce. I logged out of the Paypal app on that phone. I also went to the following and removed all old devices (there were several of my old iPhones listed with old login dates but not my new one or the one I just replaces - not sure if this is a deprecated screen feature since it's not in your new settings and it took some time to find this link).

https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/customerprofileweb?cmd=%5fprofile%2ddevice

I've now logged out and logged back in to the new iPhone to see if I can get tothe notification settings, but I still get an error. I'm assuming that since I can't get to the notification setttings on the device it isn't properly registered with your servers to receive notifications. Logging back in to the old device I can get to the Push notification settings like I could before logging out so I've not successfully unregistered the old iPhone.

At this point I can't find any way to unregister my old phone and register the new one to receive the push notifications. There are no other settings in the web (new or classic) or app that I can find to do this. Help please - thanks.

Yo PayPal - I'm in the same boat - just upgraded to iPhone two days ago - settings / notifications are turned on.  Based on combing through these threads, I think we have a problem.  Please advise.

Having this 100% exact same issue on my new iPhone 7 too. Have anyone found any situation? I'm so tired of getting automated answers from PayPal customer supports. And really wish for a solution.
