Hi there
Can you please advise me how I remove the Send a note to your customers message when a buyer makes a purchase?
It it is confusing and disturbing to both parties having this message.
Thank you.

For Buyers - on the Checkout Screen there's an option for them to send a note to the Seller. You can turn this on or off with each individual item button - assuming you have a Business Account, the option is in Step 3 when you are creating the item button. Look for "Can your customer add special instructions in a message to you?" If your buttons are saved - you can simply go back and edit the button and save it again - no need to do anything else as the settings are saved on the server side. If your buttons are not saved, you can add the "no_note" variable with a value of "1" which will hide the text box and the prompt on the Checkout Screen.

Thank you snow-cat for your kind reply. I was in rather a hurry when I posted my question. I should have clarified that i have a Business Paypal account and the message I'm talking about happens because I'm selling a digital product through PayHip. I'm not using a PayPal button for these types of transactions. I do use PayPal buttons for other transactions so will apply your instructions. Regards, Star Wise

I think it's to do with Adaptive Payments but I have no idea how to edit how these payments work. See screen-shot for the part that I would like not to be displayed being "Send a note to your customers" assuming that means I the seller can send a note to my customers, but this is indeed a strange place or location to have the message --- in the screen that the Seller views.
https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/api/adaptive-payments/
I also found an old reply from Paypal about this message -
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/18709111/paypal-adaptive-payments-remove-memo-option
I wonder if the above response still applies or if the "code" can be changed via Paypal? If not, it is a strange feature of Paypal having this message appear to the Buyer when it is actually for the Seller and should also be behind the scenes, not in anyone's face as it is, so to speak.
