This card is linked to another PayPal account. Please remove the card from the other account or try a different payment method. how to remove card? i remove & add back but i got this message

Here's some info on how to remove a card and why you may not be able to.

Here's how to remove a credit or debit card:
* Log in to your PayPal account.
* Click Wallet at the top of the page.
* Click the card you want to remove.
* Click Remove card.

A few things to keep in mind:
* You cannot remove a card if you have a pending transaction or if your card was the backup payment method for a recent instant bank payment.  Wait a few days and try again.
* You may not be able to remove your card if you have a negative balance in your PayPal account. In this situation, you must bring your balance to zero or higher to remove your card.
* If you remove your only card and have a confirmed bank account, you’ll no longer be able to make instant bank payments.  Instead they’ll be sent as eChecks, which take 3 to 4 working days to process.
* You may not be able to remove your card if you have a negative balance in your PayPal account. In this situation, you must bring your balance to zero or higher to remove your card.

Got the same issue.  I had a card linked to another account. But after I removed it from there and was trying to link it in the new acc, the system is still showing the message "This card is linked to another PayPal account....". Even on the next day it still doesn't allow to link it to another account.
   At that, I don't have any blocking option like negative balance etc.

    Does someone know how much it takes to update the system info ?
It seems that this update is done only in working day.

I'm new here, but I have this same problem, PAypal says my CC is linked to another account, but in my case, this is not true! I only have 1 account, and this cc never been added anywere. is pretty new CC? do you know is if someone stolen my cc data?

I see no positive replies here to this "simple" issue. Why the system won't update the info so we can link our CC to the new account already?

Already emailed Paypal via Contact Us, and still no reply. 😕

Good luck...paypal has the worst support in this planet. forget feedback in useful time. when you don't need it anymore, they probably will come to you. 🙂 maybe this comment helps somehow. I still don't know why paypal exists and what are the advantages. for me is only a big scheme.. only have it because I'm forced to it due to other persons that uses it and forces me to have it...
