account limitation for a foreigner

Hello, this is Changho from South Korea.

I arrived in the United States in the beginning of this month, and used Paypal to receive a money from my friend.

After I received the money, I found that my account is limited.

I tried to prove my identity by submitting necessary documents.

And I received the following email.

"Request for additional information PP-005-971-661-629 RXI000

Accepted:
Lease aggrement to confirm name & address
Clean acct login session
Clean acct xtvt.
cards does not link to any suspicious accts
No strong linked to fraud accounts
No unauthorized claims being filed
Too weak to hold
Granting appeal

Please do not reply to this email.

"

I am wondering what additional information is requested.

Also, how do I provide the information without replying to the e-mail?

When I logged in to my paypal account,

it says "We're reviewing your submissions. We’ll get back to you or lift your limitation within 2 business days."

I think at least a week has already passed but the status is the same.

How do I resolve this problem?

Thanks in advance.

I opened my US paypal account on Jult 8th. I arrived in USA on July 1st this year. I have no Korean paypal account open. When I open my USA account, I provided a Pittsburgh address. Is it possible to cancel the payment in Paypal? Thank you for your advice.

You can't cancel a PayPal payment which you already initiated.

Thank you.

It seems that I have no way to recover from the limitation to get my money.

he is the recipient of payment, not the sender.

now his money is in his account, his account is restricted

he has t o convince Paypal his Pittburgh address is good ,it is in his landlord's name, thats why Paypal is asking for lease agreement between him and his landlord, ask your landlord to find a lease contract in bookstore and prepare one.

if Paypal accepts that lease, then his account is no longer restricted, but how can he access his fund?He is not US citizen or resident,he would have problem opening a bank account,if they sent him a check,it would be a bank check to be cashed at a bank, may be he can send the money to his landlord?

since you are in USA,you can call PAYPAL,it is free ,but you would have t o wait a long time to get someone to come to the phone.
