credit card cash back

I got this e-mail from a renter of my condo who paid by Paypal.

"When I talked to Citi, they said there is a code that PayPal needs to insert so that I get my 3% back on my citi card. Can you check that out for me."  

Can anyone help me figure out how to proceed.  thanx Bruce

You do not have a credit card processing merchant account.  PayPal has the merchant account.

There is nothing you can do for this customer as you do not have access to credit card information.
