Bought and Paid Item remaining in My Basket .How to Remove

Yesterday I placed an item in My Basket and shortly after I paid for it . If I remember correctly there was a problem with Paypal using my PP a/c but it said I could use a card so I paid with the connected Debit Card and it went through fine and I got the usual emails confirming the purchase AND the payment .However when I go in to Ebay it tells me I have one item in My Basket and this is that same item and payment is required as I have commited to the purchase .

I presume it is somehow connected with the aforementioned glitch with Paypal but the question is how do I get it removed as there seems no way to do it ....might need to ask Ebay or Paypal to sort it if I can't do it myself .

EDIT : Checked my Purchase History on Ebay and the item is not shown as UNPAID nor is it shown as PURCHASED but if I go to the listing itself it says I have bought the item .    On my Paypal account it IS shown and as paid .

As I said above I got the usual emails confirming the purchase and payment.

As long as the seller knows you have paid there is not a problem.

You can mark it "as paid" in your "my ebay" as the info in there is for your information only.

Thx for the reply .Trouble is it doesnt appear in My Ebay Purchase History . On the LH side there is "Unpaid items (1) " but clicking on that produces nothing . except "You do not have any ready for payment items to display in this view." ???

I still think it does not matter as long as the seller knows that you have paid, have you checked with them?

Ebay don't DO anything if you don't pay, they only act if a seller files a dispute for non payment by a buyer.

I will check with the seller ( even tho' I got the confirmatory emails) but I just want the reminder removed as I'm going to be seeing it constantly whenever I go in to my a/c. I'll send the seller a message asking .Thx for your help
