If i close my ebay account will ebay still take money from my balance for fees?

i have 17.00 pending from a payment from a buyer on ebay but it says in my available balance -15.00 its an invoice from ebay if i clse my ebay account will i not have to pay that 15.00? please answer thank you

Hello there!

If this is a negative balance on your PayPal account, the balance must be resolved prior to closing the account.  

If this is a negative balance on your eBay account, they will likely require payment as well before allowing the account to be closed as the fees are likely considered due.  You may want to reach out to eBay customer service for more information.

Logically you would think you won't have to pay it since eBay can take the money from your payment account (pending $17 coming in) but I think they won't even let you close the ebay account without you first paying them what you owe them. And they may make you use another payment type like a credit card since your paypal balance does not have $17 available yet. Good Luck!
