i purchased an iPhone on ebay and received an empty package will i be refunded???? ‎

hello guys i recently purchased an iphone on ebay and the seller sent me an empty box with some useless manuals which are not even for iphone. the package came sailed and im pretty sure no no 1 tempted with it.  so i have opened a case with paypal and it has been 4days now no response from the seller. what happens if the seller doesnt repond and if he does what is the chances of me getting my $245 back? and will paypal ask me to send back the box?

You should open the case on EBAY instead of PAYPAL,and get Ebay to be involved-item not as described.

Ebay will send you a return shipping label,print it and ship it and the postage will be charged to the seller Ebay account.

Once it shows delivered,you get your full payment back.

Paypal will ask you to return the item as well,but would not give you a return shipping label.

Call Ebay and ask if you can close the Paypal dispute and open one on Ebay.

the only problem is this seller is nolonger an active member on ebay. and i opened a case with EBAY first before opening with PAYPAL but i opened a wrong case since its my first time i thought i was suppose to open "item not received" so i tried to contact them so i can change the case but i could not succeed. so i lost the case since the tracking number was showing delived. so i was told to open a case with PAYPAL "item not as described". and since the seller is nolonger active on ebay thought PAYPAL would speed up things.

if it does not work out with Paypal,just file chargeback with your cc issuer.
