I purchased 5 crawfish traps from BassPro and had them shipped by FedEx to my Home in Mexico. FedEx told me it would be 7 to 10 business days to delivery.  T I tems were paid and the shipping was paid to BassPro by PayPal, on 12/06/2016 . FedEx picked up the package and sent it to Mexico. It went through customs and arrivrd at the delivery wharehouse in Los Mochis.  That is 45 miles from my house.  It arrived in Los Mochis on Monday 12/12/2016. I was tracking the package and it didnot move for a cople days so I called FedEx customer service aand they said it would be delivered  Friday 12/16.  It didnot come and I have called every day and recieved promisses for the next day dilivery.  This morning I was Told by a supervisor at FedEx customer service that if I did not go and pick it up today that it would be Tuesday or Wensday before I could get it. Because of the holidays. I drove in today and picked up the package, and when i got home the tracking page said that it had been delivered to my house today. I am very angry about this because of all the lies i was told and the 7 days i took off from work to get my package. My question is there any thing i can do about this?    Frustrated and upset  Thanks

Paypal is a payment processor, they sent your payment as per requested.

They offer you buyer protection for ''item not received OR item received but not as described''.

They don't give you a dispute option for ''item arrived late as seller chose the wrong shipping option''.

Nothing PAYpal can do,it is a payment processor, not fed exp customer service.

But in US,Fed Exp and UPS are both overloaded with packages and strained to deliver them ,surprising USPS is not>

Fed Exp also said they are tired of some website demands, not paying them enough to do the work, and threaten to cancel the contracts.

You should let Bass Pro knows you are not happy with  their shipping arrangement.

But Mexico is not USA,do you know many MEXCIANS IN MEXICO join AMZN prime and send their items free to an outifit in Brownsville,Tx.

fOR $5 and prepaid12-13 % customs duty and local shipping fee ,the outfit will drive across a bridge into Mexico, clear customs and turn the package over to a reliable Mexican shipper with tracking and signature.

This is how some Mexicans buy pricey electronics such as iphones for less in USA.

PayPal paid  Bass Pro and I think that I should get a refund on my shipping charges. because FedEx didnot delivr the package in the 10 days, and because they keep lying about delivery dates.  also bassPros attitude about helping me

Thanks for the shipper in Tx, I didn't think PayPal could help , I needed to vent . and PayPal did help more than you think.  Thanks everyone.
