Hi everyone,
soo i got this email - as i check it up through the gmail browser on my phone i didnt see anything dodgy, i typed in all my details after pressing "Manage/Cancel Transaction" and it took me to "paypal page". few minutes after waking up i've realised theres soemthign weird about it so i went on my PC and checked it up there, went through my email the ngone through that "Manage/Cancel Transaction" link and Thank God Chrome put up a massive red wall that this website might use your details etc and is dangerous so Chrome blocked it... then i went kinda furious as I just gave all m ydetail to some random hacker through a way i was very cauntious about for ages... so i went to PayPal website through google.co.uk and when typing in my password it said theres soemthign wrong with it.. went to request a new password.. typed in my email address and poof: this email doesn't exist or theres no account with an email like this...
P.S. never ever ordered anything through Paypal in the past half a year.. (from what i remember)

It's either.. me losing my money or my parents, because i have legit no idea what i did with that PayPal account..
I wish PayPal sent me some message about actual login from another location or soemthing through a phone message, but as i said, i have no idea.
Anyone have an idea what can i do about this? (or better leave it..?)
Thanks

Its a spoof email and NOT from paypal.
Firstly if the email addressed you as ''Dear Member'' / ''Customer'' / ''Client'' OR your ''email address'' then that confirms its a spoof as paypal would address you by your full name eg Dear John Smith.
Secondly if there was a link OR attachment in that email to ''cancel'' the transaction or ''confirm'' any details then again it would be a spoof.
If there was a problem with your account paypal would not ask you to click on an unsafe link in an email or by downloading an attachment, they would direct you to log in normally and go to the resolution or the message centre for more information.
