Confused! eBay/Paypal account hacked!

Hi, I recently had someone access my eBay account and purchase something for £240. My bank statement shows that it was purchased through my Paypal account. Ebay have also verbally confirmed this over the phone to me. However.....it's not showing at all on my Paypal statement. Confused! 

I've contacted my bank, but does anyone have any other suggestions as to why it's not listed on my Paypal transaction statements?! Thank you.

This has just happened to me today. Says I’ve bought some tools for £608.45. I cannot believe this so close to Christmas. I have never even looked at tools on eBay. It’s not showing on PayPal but is showing on my Lloyd’s credit card. I’m so fuming.

This also just happened to me...hacked, something bought but doesn't show up on paypal. Did you get a refund?

Same happened to me £479.

Phoned EBay, they said no problem and would refund in 24 to 48 hours.

Nothing after 5 days so phoned EBay again. They said it is a Paypal problem.

They put my through to Paypal - wrong department (USA) who then gave me the internation number. Which was wrong needed to be UK.

Then after 30 minutes on hold was disconnected.

Tried again the following day, put through to 3 differnt departments and am writing this whist on hold.

Not so much fun. Do not want to stop using Paypal and Ebay but I cannot spare the time and money.

I have just had my Paypal account hacked, got a text message in middle of the night saying something about adding something to my Skype account, I haven't used Skype for years. woke this morning and when I went to my email address eight transaction gone through @ 25 Euros each. Then had one from Paypal saying there maybe suspicious activity on my account. Took me ages to get a person at Paypal who told me to change my password and I would get a refund in up to 5 days. This is scary the ability to make eight unusual transactions on my account all going through, I'm very disappointed in the lack of security of it all.
