Hey there,
There are a few emails going around pretending to be from PayPal.
First thing to look at is how the email is addressed. If it is not addressed to your name specifically then its not from PayPal. They will usually have something like Dear PayPal member or Dear Customer.

Dear Customer, You may have noticed that some limitations have been placed on your PayPal account. As a valued PayPal customer, we want to let you know what this means and how to resolve the situation. |
Bla bla bla.........as PayPal say - if it's not adressed in person to you it is a fake - wish someone would find a way of scorching these sites - too many and too often!

Hi there www1957,
Believe it nor not we do have a department thats sole function is to track down these fraudsters. It just goes to show how many of them are out there!
With customers like yourself highlighting the fraud emails we will at least keep others informed. Well done!
