Selling On Gumtree

I have just had a text about a voucher I am selling on ebay, I have been made an offer which I am willing to accept. I phoned the number and the phone was answered froma guy who said he was in Manchester and needed to use the voucher today and needed the pin from the back of it. I gave himmy email address to make paypal payment, so far no payment, I am thinking this is a scam, have I done any damage giving out an email address??

Any help/advice appreciated.
