I don't get it ! Link my checking or get Ebay mastercard what a crock!!!! I have no limit on my card why would I want another and I don't want to ink my bank accounts to a pay pal account!
The same thing has happened to me. I have been using the same bank account with paypal for four years. I have a positive balance in my bank account - I just checked. My paypal is linked thru my mastercard/debit. Coincidentally, eBay has changed the looks of their payment screen. Did they do something to delete my bank info? I am very leery of re-inputting it again - for fear of identity theft. etc. I am also a VERY unhappy camper, as I had promised to pay my sellers tonight and now I cant - making ME look bad. Up to this point my address etc has been CONFIRMED. Now they are throwing around the word VERIFIED. what's the difference? I tried to call the eBay toll free phone number I was given, and a pre recorded message told me their call volume was too high and I had to call back later, then it hung up on me. I can only assume that they blew it somehow and that thousands of angry eBay customers are crashing their phone lines!! GRRRRRRRRR!!!
The EXACT same thing happened to me! I'm in dire straits here! Have you any ideas at all what we can do? I've reached the end of my rope on this. If I can come up with something,I'll let you and everyone else know.
Best of luck trying to get a answer from paypal! There are several of us are in the same boat as you. We all have been pushed out of buying anything because we can't pay for it. Paypal refuses our payment! AND,they won't give us a answer or try to fix the problem. IF,you find something that works with them please let us all in on it! We all would greatly appreciate it!!!

We're being "cramed". It appears that eBay is playing this card to get people to sign up for their credit card. How does it feel to be abused by an organization that's supposed to be serving you?
Paypal should try informing customers they have so many days to get verified or they cannot use the account. Not in the middle of a transaction. So now I am about to lose my item and my good standing. And for what a whole $6.25.

I decided to bite the bullet and get there mastercard, just so I could pay for an auction I won, and not mess up my 100% rating. ( pretty embarrassing trying to explain to a seller why you cant pay, when you dont know yourself) So I fill out there app. and it dings me, say I didnt fill in my income, which I did. Reapplied 4 times, same thing.So I dont know what to do. Im not linking my bank account to paypal, because at this point in time, I dont trust them!!
