Bank's Sort Code not recognised

Greetings,

I am trying to link my paypal account to my bank account. However, when i am trying to enter the bank's sort code (900017) i keep getting the message "We're unable to confirm your sort code. Please try again." This is a Bank of Ireland branch

Are you in NI or Ireland?

If you have a UK account then you can only add a UK financial bank to your paypal account.

You can only add UK or US bank account to a UK PayPal account. I am sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused.
