Hi Frederick,
If you have moved address and you are trying to update your information on your PayPal account, this can be done by going to your Profile on your PayPal account. When you have updated your new address, you will then need to update any credit/debit cards that are also registered to your old address before you can remove your old address.
To add your new home address, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your PayPal account at www.paypal.co.uk
2. Click 'Profile' near the top of the page.
3. Click ‘Postal Address’ in the ‘Account Information’ column.
4. Click ‘Add address’.
5. Enter your information and click 'Save’.
6. If this is your home address, select the 'Make Home' link.
To edit the billing address for your credit or debit card, just follow these steps:
- Log in to your PayPal account at www.paypal.co.uk
- Click 'Profile' near the top of the page.
- Click the 'Credit/Debit Cards' link in the 'Financial Information' column.
- Click the 'Edit' link next to the card you wish to update.
- Enter the updated information and click 'Save'.
To remove your old home address, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your PayPal account at www.paypal.co.uk
2. Click 'Profile' near the top of the page.
3. Click ‘Postal Address’ in the ‘Account Information’ column.
4. Select the address to be removed.
5. Click the 'Remove' link.
Note: You can only add postal addresses which are located in the country where your PayPal account is registered.

Although I have updated my paypal profile to my new address and removed the old one (done nearly a year ago now) every time I pay for an order my old address still appears for delivery. I've just realised that two ebay orders I have paid for had the old address on, so have had to contact the sellers direct to give them the correct delivery address. I've been unable to find any way of contacting paypal about this. Does anyone know what I can do? Thanks in advance for any help on this one...

have you updated your address on eBay? When you go through a checkout (like eBay) you can enter a different address to the one on your PayPal account, this will then be placed on that payment as a once off kind of address. If you're doing that each time on eBay then the sellers will be getting the old address.

*******VERY URGENT*******
I created PayPal account when I was in UK. Now I have moved to Australia. How do I change the addess from UK address to Australia address. There is no option to select country. I NEED HELP VERY URGENTLY.
The above mentioned process does not work if you have moved to a different country.

Hey there, despite the fact that you have had a UK account, if you have moved to Australia, you should then open an Australian account. Only UK addresses and UK finances can be added to UK accounts, the same logic applies to Australian accounts. Hope that helps.

*VERY URGENT!*
I have recently moved to a new address. According to the account settings, my card is still linked to my old address which is no longer right. I cannot remove the old address because it is associated with the card. I have tried editing my card info to associate it with my current address. I keep receiving this message:
"We were unable to verify the billing address for this credit card. Please enter the address where you receive billing statements for this credit card below. Please refer to the automatic email we have sent to assist you."
I have not received any email from paypal. The address I am providing has been updated with the card's bank over two weeks ago and will be used for the next card statement. I need to resolve this issue asap to proceed with a payment on ebay - the seller only sends items to confirmed addresses.
Please help.

Hi there michalf,
If you have updated the address on your card statement and you try to update the information on your PayPal account, we forward the information you enter on your account to your bank when you try to update your card. Your bank can either accept or reject this. Based on the error message that you are receiving, it sounds that your bank are refusing our request to update your card billing address as they will not accept the new address.
You should try to check what the exact address is that you are trying to register on your account. If possible, try and match this address with the address that your bank has been given. Even if there is part of the address that is in capitals on your statement and not on your PayPal account, this could be refused by your bank.
