Changing account from personal to business? HELP?

I have had a Paypal account for some time but yesterday we set up our business account with the bank. I need to change the bank account from my personal account to the new business account.

Each time I try it asks me for my first and then last name but the account is in our business name. It won't let me enter that?

Am I in the wrong place?

If you upgrade your account to a business account (note: not a premier account) then when you add a bank it will only add one in your business name.

If you already have a bank account on the account from back when it was a personal account you will have to remove it and then re-add through your profile.

Apologies for tagging onto this post, but I can't find the answer I need.  I have a basic personal account and need to amend it to a basic business one.  How do I do this?

I'm more than happy to answer that for you.

To upgrade your personal account it's best to follow these quick steps:

1. Log into your account and Click ‘Profile’ near the top of the page.
2. Click ‘Update’ in the ‘Business Information’ section.
3. Click ‘Upgrade’.
4. Enter your business information and click ‘Submit’

WIth immediate effect you will now be able to manage your PayPal account under your company's name.
