Changing bank card while I'm waiting for a refund in the old one

Hi! I have just cancelled and removed my debit card which was linked to my Paypal account and  I've added a new one. The problem is that I'm waiting for a refund in the old card for the next week. Will this refund be process in my new card automatically or I have to give the new card details to get the refund?

It would be better if you had left the old one on as well until the refund had completed.

Refunds always go automatically to the card that was used to make the payment, you can't ask for it to be sent elsewhere.

HOWEVER if its the same card and you are updating it and its the same bank etc then the bank should transfer it to your new account.
