Credit card address Vs home address

I've found a few similar topics, but with no answers. So, I really would appreciate any help 🙂

The thing is, I have my credit card registered to my official address (the one on my personal ID card), but I live elsewhere and am not required to change my address officialy or even to set a temporary address. Can I set my "real" address as my home address on Paypal even when my credit card is linked to my official address. And if so, will my unofficial home address be accepet by paypal as the shipping address (I know I can also set shipping address when buying, let's say, on eBay - so this is not the question).

Billing address can be different from home address.  For example, our billing address is a Post Office Box number but, we don't live there.

So, if I'd like to set my unofficial address as my shipping address, I only need the unofficial one in my "street address" tab, linked with my credit card and set as home? The official address (which is the one on my credit card) is only given in the "credit card" tab.
