Shipping problem - changing address after transaction completed

Hi there,

I've purchased an iten from an ebay seller and forgot to change my postal address before completing the transaction.  I've since changed it to my primary address but the ebay transaction is still showing my old address and the seller won't send it until it's officially changed so that we're both covered if it goes missing.

What can I do?

Hi there Aep777,

If you have recently made a payment from your account and you have not supplied the correct address to your seller, the only way that you would be able to change the address is by requesting your seller to refund the payment to you and then you can send the payment to your seller again with the correct address.

There is no way of editing or changing an address that has been supplied to a seller once the transaction has completed. Your best option is to ask your seller to refund the payment and you can resend the funds to them.
