hello, I have a new bank card number, I need to change it on Paypal account and I do not know how to do it

Welcome to the UK Community Forum and thanks for posting!

If you have a new card, I’d recommend adding it to your PayPal account and then removing the old card. Here’s how to do this:

1. Go to www.paypal.co.uk and log in to your account.
2. Click ‘Profile’ near the top of the page.
3. Click ‘My money’.
4. Click ‘Update’ beside ‘Debit and credit cards’.
5. Click ‘Add a Card’.
6. Select the ‘Card Type’ and enter the required information.
7. Click ‘Add Card’.

Once you’ve added the new card, I’d recommend removing the old one:

1. Go to www.paypal.co.uk and log in to your account.
2. Click ‘Profile’ near the top of the page.
3. Click ‘My money.’
4. Click ‘Update’ beside ‘Debit and credit cards'.
5. Select the card you want to remove and click ‘Remove.’
6. Review the information and then click ‘Remove.’

I had to get a new Visa debit card and now I have to change the number to the one in the above box. How can I let PayPal know of this change of last four digits on my new card?

Welcome to the PayPal community forum.

If the number on your card is different to your old one then you will need to add it as a new card. If you log in to your PayPal account and go to your Profile you will see the option to add your new card.

I have had to get a new Debit card and need to change the last four numbers to a different set of numbers so that I can use my card to-day!

Hi guys,

If you have received a new card with a new card number, you would need to add this like a seperate card on your account and then remove your old card from your account. To do this, you can go to the Profile on your account and then click the Add Card option.

If you have received a new card with the same card number but with a different expiry date and CVV2 number, you can edit the card that is already on your account. To do this you can go to the Profile on your account and then click Update beside the card that is already registered on your account.
