Whether I like your tone or not is a separate matter but please don't spread misinformation.
This topic is specifically related to the use of N26 bank accounts in France.
For anyone curious about that, you can link an N26 account to a French paypal account

Paypal is country specific so if you move country you have to open another paypal account in that country and add an address / phone number / and bank accounts from within that country.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Thank you for your answer.
OK, so if I have two Paypal accounts can I a. use the same email for both? and b, transfer money between them without cost?
The bank in question is N26, it's based in Germany but offering a Europe wide service. I live in France, would I need a German or a French paypal account?

Your email address identifies your paypal account, it can't identify 2 paypal accounts in 2 different countries.
You can transfer funds between the 2 in exactly the same way that you can pay someone in another country BUT if you use the friends / family option (as you are just transfering funds and not buying anything ) then you may still pay cross border fees.

Thought I had already answered that one as per my post above >>

You may have answered it but, I'm glad to say, you're wrong in this instance.
If you have a French Paypal account you can link a German bank account. (At least it works for N26)
Thanks for your help.

Personally I don't care if you like my tone or not and i certainly will not be giving you any apology
And if you think marking your post as the solution stopped further replies sorry to disillusion you on that one.
Just looked up about your N26 account and it is not a German or a French bank account, it is in fact a EUROPEAN bank account and the first of its kind.
So my answer as to whether you can add a German bank account to a French paypal account was correct you cannot.
But you can link a EUROPEAN bank account to a French paypal account.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
