negative balance

I have added an confirmed  bank account to paypal account which is in negative balance. I have made this my preferred bank account in order to transfer funds but it won't let me because the bank account tagged to the negative balance cannot be removed. Am in dispute with this bank & have finished with this bank account. Can anyone help please

I believe if you contact customer services they can clear you neg balance with a card payment over the phone.

Contact us bottom of paypal pages > put in account probs and phone the number given > when you get through don't select any options just hang on for an agent.

Then when you have cleared it remove the old bank account and add the new.
