I do a lot of business in Turkey and wish to enable customers to pay for my services and products in Turkish Lira.  Please can you guide me as to where/how I set this up as I can't seem to find it on my account.

Many thanks

Just to the right of the words paypal balance in your paypal account are the words currency conversion.

If you cllick on that in there are the options to add another receiving currency.

Hi there - I am trying to accept payment in Turkish lira too, and may need to again, but I can't find the currency conversion button anywhere or any other info. Is accepting Turkish lira still possible?

Many thanks

David

Hi Davidjcd,

Welcome to the community forum.

At the moment Turkish Lire can only be used within Turkey but you can add any other of our available currencies to your balance to receive payments in them.

Here's how to accept money in a new currency:

  1. Go to www.paypal.co.ukand log in to your account.
  2. Click 'Profile' near the top of the page.
  3. Click 'My money.'
  4. Click 'Currencies' beside 'PayPal balance.'
  5. Select the currency you want to add.
  6. Click 'Add Currency.'

Note:

  • When you accept money in multiple currencies, you have multiple account balances.
  • When a buyer sends money in a currency you accept, the money automatically appears in that currency’s balance.
  • When a buyer sends money in a currency you don’t accept, you’ll be asked to ‘Accept’ or ‘Deny’ the payment. Your primary currency is the currency that you use to send and receive payments.

Hope this helps,

Rachael
