I am a member of a local non profit making Drama group and we have a Website where we would like to invite people to pay for performance tickets through Paypal for convenience.

However, after collecting the funds, the withdraw function in Paypal accounts only seem to allow transfers to bank accounts in the names of personal individuals (including "Mr, Mrs, etc) so it does not appear that we can send funds directly to the existing account in the name of the club

Does anyone know whether this is definitely corrrect? I have been unable to obtain an answer to this through the resolution centre. Thanks

Hi chipster, 

When you open a PayPal account in the name of a club or society, you will be requested to add a bank account in the name of the club/society. If you do not have access or do not have a bank account set up for the society then I would suggest that you contact us via phone so we can assist you in withdrawing the funds.
