Hi
I am located in Malta (Europe) and received a payment on my paypal account of $120 from United Kingdom.
The strange thing is that the fee deducted was 3.9% (i.e 3.4 + 0.5% cross border fee).
Why did i have a cross border fee since both UK and Malta are in the European Union and usually countries in the european union are exempt from cross border fees.
Can anyone help me understand the above?
Thanks,
