same thing here 30.98 gone out twice,contacted paypal and they said banks problem...in fact all banks....had problem on 19th,however just seen bank manager and he said Paypal requested twice...there issue...im being charged £25 for going O.D. WHOS LYING? i think paypal had an issue as its unlikely ALL banks would of messed up...contacting PP now to say i will be sending them the bill!
just checked my bank statement as you do and this has happened to me im with hsbc.....not sure who to contact now though i owuld have persumed the bank cant do anyhting its paypal that needs to credit us all surely!!
Same happened to me but PayPal haven't responded to my e-mail. I called them and spoke to someone in America who I couldn't understand. Should we go to Watchdog as they semeed to have made a big mistake?
A payment has been taken by direct debit from my babk account twice but is only showing in my paypal account once. This has pushed me over my overdraft limit for which I will be charged by my bank £20. Not happy
Exactly the same has happened to me. £20 has been taken out of the my account twice but only one transacation. Resolution centre have closed my dispute so I had to call the helpline. Helpline now say I have to fax my bank statement. Not happy at all.
If this was for a direct debit transaction i.e bank funded payment, call into your bank and ask them to recall the payment under the Direct Debit Indemnity Scheme.
Exactly the same has happened to me and apparently everyone else who used paypal on the 19th Oct. Again they have told me to fax over a statement even though they can see it has gone out twice! I am going to go to bank and fill out an indempty form and they will chase for the credit (as suggested by my bank!!)
