Hi,
If I want to send a friend that has a business account rather than personal, a monetary gift will he be charged the fee that he would be normally charged as if I were paying him for something?
Thanks

Hey there tupperjacci,
If you send a gift payment from your bank account or PayPal balance, there will be no fee. However, if you send it from a card the normal 3.4% + 0.20p will apply.
Also note that gift payments have no buyer or seller protection as there is no item involved.

I am trying to send a payment to my partners Paypal account from mine which is linked to my bank account but it keeps saying I am being charged £1.56 I do not understand why it keeps doing this as its supposed to be fee free if linked to my bank
Thanks

Is it linked to your debit card or actual bank account ?
