I just received an email receipt for 45.99 for a payment I have not made and it does not show on my account. is this some sort of scam?
It has a link on the receipt to raise a dispute but I am not going to use that.

Hey there,
From the sounds of it, it is not a PayPal email. If the transaction is not showing in your account and its asking you to click on a link to open a dispute then it wouldn't be one from PayPal.
Also the thing you need to check as well is the name on the email. If the email is address to something generic like Dear PayPal member then its not from PayPal.
We will always address an email to the name on the PayPal account.

If there is a transaction showing in your paypal transaction history that you have not made then file a dispute via the resolution tab in your paypal account.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

I have received an email from 'apparently' paypal saying that I have added an address to my account in Northanptonshire.
I have not done this and it is either erroneous or caused by a form of scam that I do not understand.
I would like advice as to what I should do and whether I should be concerned.
Regards

I received a strange email today,
It didn't address me with my name, it addressed me with my email address and told me that i'd recently added a new email address for my account. It told me that if said email wasn't one I had authorised to click on a link to restore my original email address. After clicking on it, it took me to a site where it asked for my card details and personal information. Of course something seemed a bit odd so I went to check my account instead by logging in like normal, which I was able to do; I checked to see if any new emails had been added and there were none.
So please be aware of this, it doesn't seem official to me and if it is please correct me.
Here is the site it told me to go to:

Had email today saying i had authorised a transaction of £59.09 for 3 months subscription to Skype. Message read. from Topup Inc." orderatcredit. If i didnt authorise this transaction, apply to Paypal money Back for full refund. This would take me through to, mstradingpost.com/orders/order.html. Has anyone come across this?

Hi, I got the same Skype scam email for £67. Did not click onto the link for saying it is a mistake as I have no doubt it will ask for stuff like bank details.
