I've only recently started using paypayl and have set up a D/D to receive funds in. I now have a balance and wish to make a personal transaction with someone who lives in the same town as me but I've being charged 3.4% for cross border transactions - could anyone please tell me why. I've tried looking for answers but not having much luck. Thanks.
Thanks for responding but this is my Mum so definitely no overseas info at all. I did have another look at my a/c and it looks like the money monies rec'd are still being processed so this could have a bearing on fees. I'll leave it for a day or two and check again to see if its processed and if so try again.
