So I recently created a paypal account just for the sake of one payment. My landlord in China couldnt bank transfer me my deposit back or western union me it so she suggested paypal. I create the account and she transfers the funds. The funds clear and I click withdraw. I get the notice that it may take up to two hours for the transfer to complete and I click confirm. After I click confirm I get the message saying it will take up to 72 hours. I have verified my bank, all details are correct so please may i know the reason for the "Paypal Review"? Are you just holding on to people's money in order to gain the interest to turn a higher profit or are you doing it to just be unreasonable. Surely you can see all the other user's angry comments on the site so why not try to resolve the matter or give an explanation as to the reasoning why? If paypal wants to remain the powerhouse of online money transfer I suggest they start caring about their customers more. Some people make a living off paypal and they need that money a lot faster than 72 hours. Resolve this paypal.

why are you talking to paypal customers like there idiots???.
if this is paypal's way of treating its customers.you will lose them.
the rise and fall of big companies has happend many times before through greed.
ebay and paypal arent the only ones in this field.
the more people who move from ebay and paypal, will only make yous weaker and less good, and the others stronger and better.ebidder is 1 example.

I don't work for paypal.
I am an ebay seller.
I have the 72 hour hold occasionally as well, its in their user agreement and i agreed to that when i joined.
Pointless debating and moaning about it as it won't change a single thing.
I tend now to only withdraw funds monthly and that way you are far less likely to get the hold.

If everyone had your attitude of accepting things that are wrong then the world would be in real trouble! My partner transfered some money to me not as a sale but as a friend or family transaction and that has also taken 72 hours (still not received and on the 71st hour now). I appreciate companies have to do their checks to ensure a safe transaction however when the company was set up as a business to ensure safe and fast payments and this is what they do for a living you expect them to be able to do checks in less than 72hours and by them delaying funds into customers bank accounts regardless of whos money it is should not take 72 hours each and every time

@kernowlass wrote:Paypal does not have to sort anything out.
You agreed that the 2 hour withdrawal time is not guaranteed AND that paypal can hold your money for security reviews ( ie waiting for the actual buyers money to clear through to paypal to reimburse them for the money they credited you in advance) in the user agreement we signed when we joined paypal.
Complaining won't make any difference, it normally clears exactly on 72 hours from my experience.
For a VOLUNTEER, You seem to be a bit of a **bleep**!!!
This is very simple!
its my money i was sent for work completed via paypal gift its in my paypal account ive withdrawn it now i have to wait yet another 72 hours before i can have it!!
DO YOU GUYS not make enough interest off us..
SO WHEN I SAY PAYPAL SORT IT, I MEAN PAYPAL SORT IT!!!!

I will post when, if and how often i want to.
I am stating the FACTS, so your claim of me being ignorant actually rebounds back to you as you are showing your ignorance. I am correct, not my fault you don't like that fact.
Paypal state withdrawals can be on hold for up to 72 hours.
Wingeing about it however much you or i do not like it won't help a jot.
