I have received. An email saying I have made a payment of 253 usd to a 'Marjorie Wilson'. It say if this is wrong to fill in Transfer Cancellation Form. Encloses a link to this. I cannot open it as it says I need Java script. Does not have PayPal logo on email. I was asleep DID NOT make this payment or transfer. What can I do. PayPal phone line closed until 8am and there is no email address for them.
Hi - I am not an expert, just another helpless paypal user. Have you checked your paypal account to see if a payment has been made? If so, then I believe you can block the payment, or have it returned to your account. If no transfer was made, then it is a phishing expedition to get your account info, report it to paypal, and delete the emails, don't click on any links in the emails!
