Withdrawal Pending... Still Pending...

Hello,

I withdrew money from my Paypal account and was instantly sent an email saying that the money will be in my account within 24 hours?! Its been 12 and it still says pending. I write this because everyone i have spoken to says that it always takes 2-3 days. Is this an email everyone gets? or an i actually going to get my money in the next 12 hours?

If not the 24 hour email is unfair. I know it hasnt been 24 hours yet but people have worried me...

many thanks

andy

I have a withdrawal for a large amount still pending.  The transaction took place on the 14th Nov!  The customer services operative that I spoke to on the 19th told me that a software issue had been fixed and that the backed up transactions were being completed in batches and that my money would be in my account by the end of the day.... still waiting two days later!

I have made a formal complaint, but I don't expect anything to come of it.  Anyone know what I can do next?

Hi

I have just been looking for help when transfering money from PayPal into my account.

I transfered funds yesterday and was a little surprised that in this day in age PayPal informed me that it would take at least 24 hours to show in my account. I checked my account and nothing is showing. I logged into PayPal and it's saying that the transfer is 'pending'

24 hours is up in a few minutes - A little dissapointed and I don't see why they would put a hold on transfering the money to me?

I always get the impression and in PayPal speak 'People Rule'

But on this occasion I think they are failing on their brand message

Unfortunately I don't think even paypal know what is going on, I have called twice and was reassured twice my money would be in my account but that hasn't happened.

I made two transfer to withdraw to my bank (16th and 17th Nov) and still nothing in my bank account even though I was told it would only take 24 hours. People have bills to pay and money which they need to live on and this is beyond ridiculous.

I received a reply from Paypal 2 hours ago saying that the technical issue has been resolved and withdrawals can be made again. But, I have just withdrawn £10 (a small amount to begin with...seemed sensible) and it's set to pending again. This is incredible behaviour from such a massive company, I feel as though there should be at least *some* national news about it. Getting more and more disheartened by the minute.

A withdrawal to my bank account on the 18th is still pending, yet I have made 5 since that have gone through immediately.... I have been sending small bits at a time and checking the bank has received it each time.  No reply from paypal admin re the 18th missing money. I can appreciate they have had problems, but where is the explanation and customer service? Trust is something that takes a lot of rebuilding.....

If you are talking about volunteers here then you will see we do not always defend paypal.

Did you see my post at the top of the page and others i have posted.

Or are you just rude to anyone that tries to help on here?

Maybe you should see how many folks you can save from being scammed etc before you call people names.

It seems the auto-defend monkey is inclined to auto-defend itself Smiley Happy

For gods sake get a job in a charity shop and leave us all in peace.
