maestro card problem 19 digits

hi i am fed up of the virtual terminal not accepting the maestro cards that have a 19 digit formula

i try to knock off the last three digits etc but they still dont go through

why is this please?

it is frustrating and can be embarassing for my customers

Hey there, there is an issue sometimes with maestro cards. Especially those with 19 digits. It is a 3-D secure issue. We do apologise for the inconvenience, but I could well imagine that those card holders are also experiencing issues with paying for other items on-line with their Maestro card. We will continue to try and integrate that card to our system, but would ask that you request your buyer to try another card. Good luck.

Im having the same problem now while linking my 19 digit Mastero card without CVV with my account. Paypal is not accepting my debit card. Its showing an error of invalid card number and CVV.

I would appreciate if anybody could suggest me to solve this issue.
