Hi Rachael-01,

I can't tell exactly why your PayPal balance is showing in USD but I can tell you how you can change it to show GBP as your primary currency. I can't advise you exactly your balance is showing in USD as I am unable to see your PayPal account. It could also be a possibility that you have received a payment in USD and as a result, it is showing in your USD balance.

You can manage multiple currencies in your PayPal account. Go to the Profile page and click ‘Currency Balances’ under ‘Financial Information.’

I hope this information helps Smiley Happy

David.

Hey there bishopsdean,

If both your balance and the amount your paying is GBP then the only way you would have a conversion would be if you card itself is in USD.

If there is a currency conversion when sending a payment from GBP to USD, you will be given the option to either have PayPal or your card company do the conversion.

Is your primary balance on your PayPal account GBP?

Can you explain a little on what you see in your PayPal account for the payment?
