NEED BANK ACCOUNT HELP!

So what happened was i had my checking account linked to paypal and i also had a credit card. Now when i made this last purchase of 15.00 i intended to use my credit card. now it billed my account instead and i didnt have any money in their so now im negitive:( now i am going to just pay and clear everything up but will paypal keep trying to bill my account? i mean if they could give me at most 4-5 days i could have the blance funded, please help

Good question austin124955 and welcome to the community!

Sorry to hear about the problem with your recent transaction.  PayPal will make a second attempt to collect the funds from your bank, three days after we receive the first notice from your bank that our first attempt to collect the funds was unsuccessful.  If that attempt fails, we will then charge your credit card. 

In many situations banks will cover smaller transactions and just provide the funds to us, and you won't have to worry about us making a second attempt, but that all depends on your bank.

It doesn't help that each transaction goes through individually.  I got three emails today for transactions I made on the 1st, now I have three overdraft charges.  I now know I messed up, I had it defaulting to the wrong bank, but it doesn't look like I can fix it in time to avoid having three more charges, plus charges for transactions I made since then.

There really needs to be away to reign these in once we become aware of a problem like this.
