Hello. I rarely use my Pay Pal card except here on EBay.
Around last May Pay Pal quit sending me invoices.
Months go by, and today I just happened to pull out my PayPal card out to pay for an item I wanted.
You can imagine my surprise when the young lady at the counter told me the card had been refused.
Upon my arrival home I called PayPal and was told that my card had been canceled because of a TWO DOLLAR charge back in june that had not been paid, and further that the amount now due was twenty five dollars due to late fees, and that the card would not be re-instated.
After calling the machine that answered my call asked if I wanted to add the number I was calling from
(my home number) to the numbers already in my file(I did not recognize the two numbers they insist are mine. After holding for over 10 minutes a person with a very heavy accent came on the phone to ask if she could help me, she asked my birthdate, address, last four numbers of my social security card, and the number of the dishonored card. She asked me to hold, and in a few moments came back on to tell me my card had been cancelled. I told her I had not received an invoice, and she said I just didn't want to pay the charges. She said they had sent invoices to hsn25, which isn't even close to my address. At this point she told me they'd always sent the bills there in the past and they'd always been paid. I attempted to explain to her that while I have a Po Box for Billing and a physical address for shipping and receiving neither was hsn25. At this point she told me she was hanging up because I was being irrational ( I had in no way acted in an irrational manner).
