Unfortunately this tip only applies if you use Firefox as your browser. I have not seen anything for Chrome or Internet Explorer that would apply.
If you use Firefox, you can grab the FoxReplace add-on to allow you to add nicknames to your cards.
Configure and enable the extension for paypal.com, then set up your nicknames. For example, if your card's last 4 digits are "1234" (what you would normally see when choosing a payment source) you can have FoxReplace change that to "1234 (My Bank Card)" or whatever nickname you might want.
I've got 6 cards on my account and this makes my life so much easier when making payments!
Hopefully some day Paypal will come to their senses and provide a native way of adding nicknames! If you can do it with checking accounts then WHY NOT for cards?!
