says my credit card is registered 2 a different account??

it wont me use my own credit card. It says its registered to another account, but i have checked for over a month now. It is not being used, and i have my card right here. It has NOT been stolen.

I am having that same issue too. My husband - soon to be Ex has a paypal account I used but checked his profile and do not see my card listed anywhere. I have my own paypal account now that I am trying to set up and detach myself from his stuff for when the divorce is final.
It will not let me add my new pay pal account or my other card that says -"That card number is already assigned to another PayPal account. For security purposes, each card may only be assigned to one PayPal account. If you have already opened a PayPal account, please retrieve the relevant information and log in. Otherwise, please use a different card."

I'm also having this problem. I deleted my old account in order to make a new one, but the system won't accept the credit card number I used with my old account, it seems like it's still being used... for some unexplained reason!

I've checked my statements and ive been watching it for months now, and i have my credit card so i know there is no possible way of it being stolen or being in use by anybody else. The only thing Pay Pal has told me to do is call in a lost or stolen credit card and get a new one, but i dont want to do that and dont feel that i should be made to. I have my identification, my card, and any information that i need to prove it is MY card, that should be enough I would think, but it doesnt seem to help me any.

Tried to add a card to my account. Same problem, it's telling me my card is registered to a different account. I have my card, it has not been stolen, I know I have never opened another PayPal account, there's no evidence anyone has stolen my identity or card information (no suspicious transactions).

Same problem here and worse of all is the fact that you can't talk to a "real" person at customer service or send a "real" email to anybody to get this resolved. I wonder if they actually have any "real" people there or if it's a bunch of robots!
WE CAN ONLY HOPE THAT SOMEONE THERE IS READING THESE MESSAGES AND CAN FIX THIS PROBLEM BECAUSE WE HAVE NO WAY OF DOING IT!
