I have been hearing about a buy now, pay later option offered by paypal. Is this true? I looked everywhere on the site that I could think of, but can't find anything. can someone clear this up for me?
PayPal Pay Later is an extension of credit for the amount of your purchase. You can apply for it if you don't already have the PayPal Plus Credit Card, eBay MasterCard, or PayPal Buyer Credit. Once you're approved for PayPal Pay Later, it becomes a funding source in your PayPal account. You can use it anywhere PayPal is accepted, but each use will require approval.
I have had paypal later for quite a while. But when I selected it to pay for a purchase on hsn. I was surprised that instead of using the paypal later credit, my checking account was debited for the purchase. Why was I not notified that paypal later was not going to be used and instead there was to be money taken out of my account. It would be better for those watching our budget to know that this is the case, so that we can cancel the purchase.
I have had the same thing happen. I asked merchant to refund and I repurchased through BML. Guess what?!!! They did it again! I've been on the phone holding for 15 minutes to talk to someone.
