Hello community, just wondering if anyone has had success receiving USD to their South African PayPal account? I sent money (in US currency) to a family member in South Africa as the Rand is not supported. But now they are not able to transfer the funds to their bank (Standard Bank). I’ve read that FNB has now linked to PayPal in South Africa, but is that for all PayPal users (personal, not business-related) and is the transfer as simple as it sounds (after paying currency conversion fees)? Any advice as to the best ways to withdraw the money in SA would be greatly appreciated!
