I am based in the UK. I want to order 225€ worth product from an EU based retailer, and they already stated that this price includes tax. They will not sell me the product tax free. When this product arrives to the UK, I will pay import tax and duties which is fine, but what happens with the tax that I paid to the retailer at the checkout. I am wondering if paypal would be able to help me with recovering this tax that I paid at the checkout?

You are liable for any fees that are included in the purchase of an item. These fees may be higher based on the merchant's location, and where the item is being shipped t. I'm afraid PayPal will not assist you with the fees.
