Digital goods, invoicing & shipping addresses

To keep it simple, I use the paypal invoice system, but my goods are 100% digital as I sell commissioned artwork. I noticed when I receive payment there are links to "ship, add tracking number, mark as shipped" etc.
Since my clients receive no physical items, is there any way to not require this on invoices? I've heard stories of other artists being scammed because of this as we technically do not ship anything (buyer claims they never received their product for example) and as well some of my clients are hesitation to use the invoice system because they don't want to give out their address, which I don't blame them since I don't need that information anyway.

Thank you in advance!

Click "Add Tracking", and select an appropriate order status and ask the buyer to confirm receipt on their end.

Or instead of sending invoices, you can make a payment button, disable the need for shipping addresses in the button options and export button code as email link for the customer to pay with.

You can also ask the buyers to send payment via Send & Request but select "No Address Needed" in the mailing address dropdown menu.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

I know of those options, but as this is a business for me, I prefer to use the invoice system for professionalism and for organization come tax time.
It would be nice if they added a feature for digital goods when it comes to the invoice system
