Can't verify my visa debit card

I've created an account and when i try to add a debit card, it asks me for the "CSC" code which my card doesn't have so i just click "Continue" since the page tells me that if i don't have the code on my card i can just leave it blank, the problem is that when i do click the button it just tells me:

"Some information is incorrect or missing. Please correct your entries and try again. - Card Security Code: Please enter a valid verification number. The verification number is a 3-digit number printed on the back of your card. For American Express cards, the verification number is a 4-digit number printed on the front of your card." Am i missing something here?

I had a paypal account that allowed me to press a box and use my debit card I altered a password and that page and option has disappeared how do I get it back iam on the verge of balding out from paypal and e bay. I use an ipad

Sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulty. 

Can I ask that you go to your profile & click on 'edit' next to 'debit & credit cards', is your card due to expire?

Please try log in from a PC & when you are completing your payment you should see 'more funding options'.
