ive been buying stuff with paypal and using my bank account for years now, with hardly any problems, but the past 3 days ive been getting this error when trying to purchase something Sorry, your transaction was unsuccessful.

  i have no idea what this is and why its happened all of a sudden. any help please?

I am also having this problem, but from customers attempting to place orders from my store. It keeps stating that the transaction was unsuccessful, please try anyother credit/debit card. When a customer then tries another card, then the same error message comes up. 

 

I experienced this exact same issue about 2 months ago and it lasted for weeks.

 

If anyone can help or shed some light on this obvious issue with Paypal, that would be great?

yeah exact same problem, im surprised nobody has replied back to this thread with some answers, if there is anyone outthere that knows what the issue is please let us know.

Surely it would be best to phone the number given as advised already??

just called that number...as it says its connected with fraud...they have to confirm yr details as there have been missuses of debit and credit cards recently...now everything works fine..peace
