"Red Flag" Warnings

Just started getting these "Red Flag" risk warnings today. Seven payments, already four red flags. Rather derogatory of the buyer, especially if Paypal do not give you any reason for the warning. how do you decide on the warning when you have no info to make such a decision. I hope Paypal are trying to pass any future problems onto the seller as a "told you so".

Also, no one seems to have been told about these warnings. I might add that we get very few problems indeed with buyers both in the UK & the EU, the two areas we supply.

I have received a payment "Complete" but there is a red flag "Risk Alert" . When you click on it there is no explaination as to what the risk is, or what Paypal expect me to do about it.

I guess they just want to cover backs for if the payment somehow fails, but they can do whatever they like anyway, so why this alert?

Anyone know what it means?

I have posted out (mailed or shipped) items before and the payment has later been reversed so I lost both.  What is different here?

Any ideas?

I have the same thing on my account and it baffles me because it does not say what it is for - come on Paypal don't just put Risk Alert let us know exactly what the problem is?

we too have had loads of these reg flag warings. most are from our regular buyers and have no idea what they mean. think paypal need to sort out this problem and let people know what they really mean!!

Hi, Most of my payments today have come up as red flag alerts, but still showing to post items, has anyone got any advice or having the same problem?

i have also had three today, read somewhere on a forum it was a glitch and paypal were looking into it. i wouldnt be too worried if we are all having them it may appear to be a gltch

We are aware that some payments are showing red flags on them. Please be assured that there is no issue with these particular transactions. 

Our technical team are currently working to resolve this issue and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience  or confusion caused.

Hi, i'd just like to know what the red error message is, it says error occurred directing back to sellers page. What does this mean and WHY ????????
