I used my Ebay Bucks toward a recent purchase, and although the Voucher appears with the transaction, my paypal account was still charged the full amount. Why is this, and when or will it ever be credited back to my account?
Someone please explain how this works because this is the first time I have ever used my Ebay Bucks Voucher on any order.
I guess I assumed that it would come off immediately at time of the purchase, but I haven't seen it yet?

Me either. On a recent purchase, eBay bucks were applied, but I'm apparently, I'm still waiting on a voucher from 01/10/2011. It does say that the voucher was applied but the numbers are conflicting. The *full amount* was debited from my account rather than the *full amount minus the help from the eBay bucks certificate* on that day.
That is some negligent and fraudulent bull**bleep** you're pulling eBAy and Paypal, shame on you. We are your customers, we have a right to know of any major glitches, as I see I'm not the only with this issue. You big companies work with each other, so when things fall to **bleep**, you shouldn't point fingers, rather, find a solution for your customer and make them happy.
I personally am flooding all avenues of communication until Paypal does something- I've sent e-mails, and have filed this as a dispute in the resolution center under "unauthorized transactions" since Paypal just sends you these bull**bleep**, impersonal automated e-mails-- terrible customer service. Tomorrow I will try calling eBay and if they send me here after an hour of holding on the phone, well.. don't know what to tell you at that point.
Oh and if you're tired of eBay and Paypal jerking you around, especially if you are experiencing the same issue, you can also flood Paypal with the same letter I sent them. Just copy and paste the letter below and-
+Send them an e-mail (Topic: Sending/receiving money, Subtopic: Coupon/redemption code) and/or
+ Click "Resolution Center" and file an "unauthorized transaction", then paste the letter in the "relevant info" box.
Maybe Paypal/eBay will notice a pattern and they'll get off their **bleep** and DO something about it or acknowledge the problem at the very least so that they can come up with a solution. Here is the generic letter below, you can copy and paste your info in the blank spaces or you can do your own thing based off of it:

I had this same problem. I entered the coupon code and the discount showed up in checkout. However the discount was not taken out. On the receipt I was e-mailed, it showed I paid the full amount. Why offer a discount and not apply it? Where do we go to get our discount? There needs to be clearer instructions for using e-bay discounts. I can see from this forum that I am not alone and this problem will continue to frustrate people. E-bay and PayPal need to get it together and find out how we can apply the discounts that are being offered to us.

Hello
Paypal can be confusing when it comes to using the Bucks, but here's how you can verify if there's a problem or not. When you log in, there is a table on the page titled "My recent activity". In the table, you see your purchase.
One of the columns says "Details". Click on the "details" link for the purchase you have used your Ebay bucks for, which brings you to a new page.
On that page, you see the bucks voucher applied. At the bottom of the page I see theconfirmation that the bucks were used to fund the purchase:
Funding Source: | $ab.cd USD - eBay Bucks Certificate #XXYYYYZZZZZZZ |
