AXS refusing to refund ticket cancelation insurance

AXS has cancelled the ATP finals at the O2 in November 2020, because of COVID.
They have refunded the ticket cost, but are refusing to refund the ticket cancelation Insurance (supposed to cover accidents etc.)
email from them:
"Thank you for contacting AXS.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to issue a refund on your ticket insurance.
The insurance company, XCover, are completely separate to AXS, so it's them you'll need to contact with any queries about your policy."
I cannot access the Insurance company. I am supposed to submit a claim, with my email address - I can't get in. I don't see why I should have to do the legwork on this one.
Tickets were bought in December 2019 - so I am outside the 120 claims deadline. The partial refund was completed early August 2020
