Hi all
A bot got into my email account and went all out changing basically all my account passwords, then email and phone numbers.
Paypal was one of the first accounts hit unsurprisingly and now I've lost total control of everything, as if my account never existed.
Bank and card was linked to the account, as well as address' names, numbers and so on.
Is there anything I can do at this point to have the account taken down?
I have the email address it was changed to, and the phone number it was changed to. As well as emails for as recent as 1 week ago still saved in my own email account for proof to staff members.
I'll get my card cancelled tomorrow when the bank is open again. The bot tried to change my mobile banking password too many times so I'm locked out of that until tomorrow too.
Is there anything I can do? I live chat does nothing, no direct email, can't call from NZ and I had to make this other account to even be able to try contact paypal at all.
Thank you

No worries now
Bank accounts been used, and now ended up locked due to fraudulent charges from paypal purchases before being able to contact them.
Only back here to pass this info on
Cheers ❤️
