AliExpress refund scam(Seller-Luxurious Virgin Hair)-S

Good day, I ordered items from a seller on AliExpress, Both orders were not as described so I opened a claim on AliExpress. The seller asked that I keep the item and he will refund me through PayPal (Big mistake) I was new to the PayPal platform. It’s almost 180 days later (2days before) the seller filed a dispute for the refund he sent me. Stating that item is not as described, please note I did not sell this person anything I am the buyer. I have sent all the screenshot to PayPal and waiting for a decision. Has anyone gone through anything similar and what was the outcome? I can no longer file a claim with AliExpress as it’s dispute period has been closed. Does PayPal know of these scammers and since I provided proof, does paypal consider?

They would not have been able to do this if they had issued you a paypal REFUND, but it sounds as if he 'sent' you a payment using the goods/services option instead which is why he can now open a dispute.

Hopefully if you provide as much info as possible then due to the fact that he has nothing to return for you to get his refund AND the long time factor you may win.
